I’m still getting used to the Fuji X-100, a fine street camera it is, but I have missed some shots. For example, when the green car (left) was turning the corner I raised the X-100 to my eye and the driver threw up a “Westside” sign for me as he drove by. Not yet familiar with my camera, I missed the shot and only got the front half of the car. I blame me. Not the camera. Still learning.

Sometimes all you have to do is walk out the front door for a photo opp. Boom.

Can anyone name the make and model? I never got close enough to see what kind of car this was. Kicking myself.

About a month ago, I saw this convertible Buick and didn’t have my camera with me. I was kicking myself, as I’ve had some great luck spotting classic cars around Seattle. Low and behold last weekend, I spotted the same green Buick parked in the exact same spot with green storefront making a great backdrop. They say photo opps are like lightening and never strike twice. They’re wrong. Check out the rest of my classic car series here.

Spotted this beauty cruising through Pike Place Market. I didn’t get the make and model…anyone? For more of my classic car series, click here.
